What are Omega-3 and Omega-6 useful for?

Omega-3 and Omega-6 are polynsatured fatty acids called also essential fatty acids. They are necessary for normal body functions and for the entirety of its structures.

Why are they called essential fatty acids?

Because our body cannot produce them but must take them thorough nutrition and/or supplementation.

Which are the most important Omega-3 fatty acids?

They are Linolenis acid (ALA), eicopentaenoic acid (EPA), docoesaenoic acid (DHA).
